Marcus Magellan the Bonjo Jug Band
The Bonjo Jug Band consist of Marcus Magellan, Andy Stermer and Richard Rose. Music inspired by early jazz, country jazz and folk in the style of Pokey Lafarge, Woody Pines, and The Two Man gentleman Band. Usually they can be seen performing in colleges, events and busking on the streets (Buskerfest/Make Music Miami). They play original songs and covers. They perform their music with a spirited vibe and always try to give their audience a great time.
New Old-Time
Folk, trad jazz, skiffle and jug music. Well crafted catchy songs with an upbeat rhythm developed by many years of busking.
Traditional jazz/folk/country music covers and originals, vocals and instrumentals.
Bouncy rhythm, my only accompaniment is a six string banjo.

"Marcus performed the right music for our new house party, he began his first set with a mellow tone while we dined, as the party got underway he picked up the pace with upbeat dancing music and classic swing favorites.
I used to be a clarinet player, and I think his instrumental ability and sense of chordal harmony is phenomenal. He plays his six-string banjo with incredible technique and taste.
Marcus was pleasant and our guests really enjoyed themselves".
